Sâde Popoola (aka Shadz) is a 25 year old illustrator and graphic designer based in London.

Shadz’s passion for creating began with portraiture, however studying Illustration at university in addition to the growing list of client projects have allowed her to expand my creative processes. 

Over the past few years her work has began to take on a minimalist style, inspired by her childhood love for pop art, Regularly using texture overlays, this minimalistic style is further enhanced to give her illustrations more depth.

Although the content of her work may differ, Shadz’s hope is to always produce something that is relatable for those who don’t often see themselves, their interests or their struggles represented in art. 

Her dream brief would be a public illustrated campaign/project that spreads a message of equality on a large scale. Additionally, as a repeat binger of tv shows and films, she would love to work within the TV and Film industries!
